Scholarships
To assist with tuition, books, and other needs, the 博天堂官方 Foundation makes a number of scholarships available to new and current students. All applications are submitted through our online system.
Please note that the 博天堂官方 scholarship system will only allow you to create an application during an active scholarship cycle. The Spring 2024 scholarship cycle opens on February 20 and closes on April 19 at 11:59pm.

Applying for an 博天堂官方 scholarships is easy! Our online application system allows you to be considered for close to 200 scholarships at once.
博天堂官方 Scholarships come from donors who have chosen to give to 博天堂官方 to help students like you! Donors come from difference backgrounds resulting in scholarships for various areas of study. Donors know the juggling act students at 博天堂官方 have with school, work and family. They give to help support students often seeking to help hard working students with a compelling story with financial need. Merit and top grades are not as important to many donors as making your education a top priority and reaching your goals of a degree.
Are you currently admitted or enrolled at 博天堂官方 as a degree-seeking student? If yes, you can apply for scholarships!
Applicants must have at least a 2.0 GPA and some scholarships do require full time enrollment (12 or more credits).
Our scholarships are available for Degree Partnership Program students as long as they are enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits at 博天堂官方.
International students and students without a FAFSA can apply, however, select opportunities do require a FAFSA to be filed. When a FAFSA is not available, the budget worksheet will be considered to show financial need.
Sorry, but non-degree Community Education students do not qualify for scholarships.
The 博天堂官方 Scholarship system will only allow for you to create an application during an active Scholarship cycle. We have two cycles each year: one in the early Spring and one in the fall.
The Fall cycle will open on Welcome Day. The Spring cycle will open during the third week of February.
To get started, create an account by visiting our scholarship database and clicking the grey "Sign Up" button in the upper right hand corner. Provide your student email address and choose your password.
When applying, answer all the questions and take time to prepare the parts with statements.
The application has a section to write a statement regarding your educational and career goals. This portion is very important as it gives insight to your life and what you would like to accomplish by gaining an education at 博天堂官方. Share what has motivated you to select your field or study and include what you hope to accomplish in the future. Don’t let this piece scare you! Take time to write it and share it with a friend or family for input. Be sure to use spell check!
The personal statement is followed by a question regarding your financial need. Share your financial situation and include any exceptional circumstance that you would like to have reviewers consider.
You must prepare and attached a work sheet with your budget. This does require Excel. We recommend while you can complete your application from any computer or mobile device, this piece can be completed using a computer at 博天堂官方 in the library or a computer lab. This is an important part of your overall application. Take the time to complete it and remember to upload it to your application.
Scholarship information is subject to change. Please be aware that some awards require a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). You can check the requirements for each scholarship before applying. FAFSA forms are available at the Financial Aid Office, Takena Hall 117, or online on the FAFSA website.

How are 博天堂官方 Scholarships different from financial aid?
- 博天堂官方 Scholarships are funded by donors who give to the 博天堂官方 Foundation.
- Most of our scholarships do not require a FAFSA to be filed to be eligible to apply.
- 博天堂官方 Scholarships are only available to admitted, current, degree/credit-seeking students.
- Most 博天堂官方 scholarships can be used for living expenses beyond tuition and books. You can refer to the scholarship details to see what specific expenses the scholarship covers.
- DPP students are eligible to apply for scholarships. They must maintain at least 6 credits (and overall be a full-time student) at 博天堂官方 to be eligible.
Sending a Letter of Thanks
Students awarded a scholarship are asked to write a thank-you letter addressed to the scholarship donor (the name of the scholarship) and submit it to the 博天堂官方 Foundation no later than 3 weeks into the term upon receiving an award.
Letters can be mailed to: 博天堂官方 Foundation, CC-107, 6500 Pacific Blvd SW., Albany OR 97321, or you can drop off your letter at the Institutional Advancement/Foundation office located in the Calapooia Center building on the Albany campus in room CC-107.
